A glow text effect makes words emit light — a bright core, soft halo, and luminous color that makes the text feel lit from within.
What is Glow Text?
Glow text is the quieter cousin of neon: instead of a hard glass-tube look, the letters radiate a soft light — a bright core with a wide blur halo, often in one accent color against dark. It reads as premium, magical, or high-tech. The shots below stage glowing orbs, flylines, and dashboard highlight pills around text.

How do you make a glow text effect?+
Give the text a bright core color, add a wide soft blur behind it for the halo, and optionally a thin bright outline. Glow reads best against dark backgrounds with room to bloom.
What is the difference between glow and neon text?+
Glow text is a soft luminous halo around the letters, often subtle and elegant. Neon text is a hard glass-tube look — bright outline, strong saturation, retro-sign styling.
How much glow is too much?+
Use a halo wide enough to read as light but not so wide it washes out the letterforms. One accent color per scene keeps it premium; too many glowing colors looks chaotic.
